In Matthew 14:22-33, after feeding the 5,000, Jesus sends His disciples ahead by boat and goes to pray alone. During the night, the disciples struggle against strong winds on the sea. Jesus walks on the water toward them, and they are terrified, thinking He is a ghost. He reassures them, saying, "Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid." Peter walks on the water toward Jesus but begins to sink when he doubts. Jesus saves him, saying, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" Once they enter the boat, the wind calms, and the disciples worship Jesus, acknowledging Him as the Son of God.
