Our hope is in the Lord, who neither sleeps nor
slumbers, who stands with us by light of day
and guards us through the night.
While kingdoms rise and fall, the love of God
stands firm. Though mountains quake and
crumble, God’s promise shall endure.
Our lives are like the grass that quickly fades
and withers. Our days are like a grain of sand
upon the ocean floor.
The Lord will be our strength this day and for
all ages. The Lord will be our rock of hope,
a refuge for all time.
