The Gospel of Matthew - Messengers from John the Baptist | Matthew Chapter 11: 2 - 6

In Matthew 11:2-6, John the Baptist, who is in prison, sends his disciples to ask Jesus if He is the Messiah they were expecting or if they should wait for another. In response, Jesus tells them to report back to John about the miracles they have witnessed: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Jesus concludes by saying, "Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me," encouraging John to trust in His mission and not be discouraged.
